General Nursing Care of Urinary Disease

 1: Reassure

Reassure the patient and their relative to decrease their anxiety.

2: Bed position

As per disease, Anesthesia and operation etc.

3: Vital sign.

Vital sigens such as TPR and B.P should be checked and recorded properly.

4: Health Education.

Health education about the disease should be provided to the patient and their relative.

5: Diet.

Advise for eating diet as per disease/condition & avoid from eating diet as per disease/condition.

6: Medication.

As physician prescribed.

7: Diversion Therapy.

Should be given to change mood of patient after improving condition.

8: Mouth Care.

Should be given.

9: Eye Care.

Should be given.

10: Daily Bath:

Should be given at least once or week.

11: Early Mobilization.

Should be given as possible after improving condition.
12: Back Care.

Such as proper bedding,change the position wtc should be given per condition/disease to prevent from bed sore.

13: I/O chart

Should be maintained.

14: Air way.

Air way should be cleared.

15: N/G Tube.
.if needed for feeding purpose.

16: Cold Sponging.

If needed in Temperature.

17: Catheterization.

Should be maintained to prevent from kidney failure if patent is unconscious/paralysis condition

18: Hot Fomentation:

Should be provided to reduce the abdominal distention, inflammation and pain of muscles.
